Taled started because we wanted a better way to buy and sell preloved books in Australia, without the faff.
We’re Craig and Jordan, a husband-and-wife team. Selling a book used to mean fiddly forms, messy photos, and hoping someone nearby wanted that exact title. Buying meant scrolling classifieds that weren’t built for books. We figured there had to be an easy way.
So we built Taled. It’s a peer-to-peer marketplace for preloved books. Scan an ISBN, take a few photos on your phone, set your price and postage, and you’re listed. Buyers can search properly, message you in-app, and buy the copy you actually have.

We’re not a warehouse and we’re not a chain. We’re two people building the marketplace we wished existed: readers selling to readers, with tools that make listing and buying straightforward.
